As we celebrate International Black Women’s History Month, we are honored to obtain an exclusive interview with Bertha Winston.

Hi Bertha, it’s International Black Women’s History Month and we are delighted to interview you today. Please tell us about Destined2Millions and how it came about.

Bertha: Destined2Millions came about when I was stressed out with bills, living paycheck to paycheck, no emergency fund nor any investment account. I became part of a company that taught financial strategies and I knew that was something that I needed to be a part of. I learned about strategies on how to minimize taxes, eliminate debt, repair my credit and investment training. I learned that I can possibly become a millionaire by income shifting my income back into my household. After applying the strategies that I learned I paid off all my debt, with the exception of my mortgage, started a true emergency fund, opened up several investment accounts. Therefore, I branded myself with the title Destined2Millions because I plan to become a millionaire in the very near future.

We would love to learn about TheWintsonExperience. What can you tell us about it?

Bertha: TheWinstonExperience came about because I wanted a second brand of myself stemming from Destined2Miillions which is the same concept. I wanted to have a different brand of myself to reach a different audience to drive new people to the new me. So that is how TheWinstonExperience came about.

TheWinstonExperience is a testimony of me going from paycheck to paycheck to becoming debt free, having a 600-credit score to now having an 820-credit score, having no emergency fund to now having a true emergency fund, having no investment account to having several investment accounts and at age 72, if I can do it so can you. It is never too late as long as you are breathing. You don’t have to be great to get started, but you do have to start to be great.

Any exclusive news you can share with us about something current you’re working on?

Bertha: I am working on webinars on being retired and debt free, and I am about the publish my book in the next 3 weeks called “Love Like You’ve Never Been Hurt”. I am also the author of 2 Anthologies “Unshakable Faith” and “Stories of My Friends”.

In what ways do you aspire in the future to help women of color through your services, resources, and platform?

Bertha: My desire is to inspire and help women of color learn how to begin income shifting their income back into their household through several strategies that I have learned over the last 10 years. How to retire debt free by minimizing taxes, eliminating debt, repairing their credit, and how to invest like the pros.
